Il est patent que de fortes doses de radioactivité affectent le patrimoine génétique des êtres vivants modifiant ainsi leur morphologie sur plusieurs générations. Autour de Fukushima Daichi, des mutations ont été observées en particulier sur des êtres à court cycle de reproduction tels des papillons évoluant dans les zones irradiées. En 1986, le village Voice publiait à New York des photographies volées sur le site de la centrale atomique de Three Miles Island ou l'on pouvait voir des pissenlits et des arbustes difformes, suite à la catastrophe nucléaire de 1979. En partant de cette réalité, j'ai appliqué ce principe de mutation de la forme à la graphie de plusieurs mons. Les dessins sont projetés sous forme d’objets sculpturaux qui portent en eux cette métamorphose et reproduisent dans le culturel ce qui opère dans le vivant.
Il y a deux séries, une de petites sculptures sous l'angle de l'évolution positive et une autre de boites à secrets. On peut supposer que ces boîtes sont destinées à garder en souvenir ce qui fut et seront autant de réceptacles à la mémoire de l’événement et des disparus.
It is obvious that high doses of radioactivity are affecting the genetic inheritance of living creature modifying therefore their morphology on several generations. In the surroundings of Fukushima Daichi, mutations have been specifically observed on insects with short reproducing cycles such as butterflies flying around in the irradiated zones. In 1986, the Village Voice published in New York stollen photographs from the site of the Three Miles Island power plant where could be seen deformed dandelions and small trees as the result of the 1979 accident. On the basis of this reality, I have applied this principle of form mutation to the drawing of several mons. The paths are projected as sculptural objects which carry in that metamorphosis and reproduce within the cultural what is at stake in the natural.
There are two series, one of small sculptures pointing to positive evolution and a another one made of secret boxes. One might assume that these boxes are intended to keep souvenirs of the old time and will be as well as many receptacles to the memory of the event and of the dead.
